2026 Pochino Italy Scholarship: Supporting the Next Generation of Culinary Talent
At Pochino Italy, food has always been more than just a meal—it’s a way to connect, share stories, and celebrate life’s simple joys. Born in 2021 from the vision of Giuseppe from Rome and Andrea from Venice, two Italians passionate about bringing authentic flavors to the U.S., Pochino Italy grew out of a love for tradition, family, and hospitality. When they partnered with Jennifer and Chris, two American food lovers who shared that same dedication to quality and community, the dream became reality.
Together, this team poured months into testing recipes, sourcing the finest ingredients, and building a brand that stays true to the heart of Italian culture. “Pochino” means “a little bit,” and that’s exactly what they strive to give their guests—a little bit of Italy in every bite. Their approach is simple and sincere: honest food made with care, fresh local produce, Italian semolina flour, and ingredients imported directly from Italy.
Now serving the Cobb County community in Kennesaw, GA, Pochino Italy has become more than just a restaurant—it has become a gathering place where quality food, laughter, and hospitality go hand in hand. Just as importantly, Giuseppe, Andrea, Jennifer, and Chris have worked to build a brand rooted in giving back to the community that has embraced them.
In that spirit, they established the Pochino Italy Scholarship, a $1,000 award that supports Cobb County School District seniors who aspire to careers in Culinary Arts. The scholarship is designed to recognize students who embody academic promise, positive character, and a genuine commitment to learning—values that reflect the very heart of Pochino Italy.n
