That spirit of connection is alive and well at the locally owned Mableton MOOYAH, operated by Keylan and Erika Mitchell. Known not only for serving up delicious burgers, fries, and shakes, the Mitchells have made it their mission to give back to the community they serve. From offering discounts and support to teachers, bus drivers, and school staff, to contributing to family stabilization programs that strengthen student success, their generosity extends far beyond the restaurant doors.

To further that impact, the Mitchells established the MOOYAH Culinary Arts Scholarship at Pebblebrook High School. This $2,500 award supports students who demonstrate academic promise, strong character, and a passion for pursuing careers in the culinary field. More than financial assistance, the scholarship is a recognition of the creativity, discipline, and dedication it takes to succeed in Culinary Arts.

Applicants must be graduating seniors at Pebblebrook High School, planning to pursue Culinary Arts at an accredited institution, and maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA. The scholarship also emphasizes positive citizenship—students who engage in their communities, uplift their peers, and demonstrate responsibility and respect.

For Keylan and Erika, this scholarship is about inspiring the next generation of chefs, bakers, and food industry leaders while reinforcing a core belief: success is best when it’s shared. By investing in students, the Mitchells hope to spark new opportunities, new dreams, and new stories of growth that will benefit not only Pebblebrook but the entire Cobb County community.
