“The Cobb Schools Foundation is extremely thankful to the more than 120 players and volunteers that continue to make this golf tournament such a success,” said Sheri Brante, executive director for the foundation. “We are pleased that so many businesses partner with our schools and are dedicated to Cobb education.”

The September tournament was held at Brookstone Country Club in Acworth and hosted more than 30 teams. The day included marching bands, mascots, silent auction and a tailgate awards party!" FUN FUN FUN! The Cobb Schools Foundation also hosted golf students from the Hollydale Elementary School golf team to a putting contest with lunch and prizes.

“We are blessed to have amazing corporate sponsorship for this event,” said Brante. “Our players are truly making a difference in our schools.”

The Cobb Schools Foundation celebrates a decade of dedication. The foundation is a non-profit organization providing funds for education programs such as teacher grants, scholarships, SAT preparation, after-school programs for kids in need and much more! For more than ten years, Cobb Schools Foundation has been funded through the generous support of individuals and the business community.
